WELCOME TO DW&Co

Commercial Real Estate

Welcome to

With nearly 20 years of experience in the Dallas Design District real estate market, Diane Williams has time-tested success as a commercial real estate broker. She founded Diane Williams Commercial Real Estate & Company (DW & Co.) on May 1, 2013.

Diane works closely with clients to determine their needs and requirements and to foster strong landlord-tenant relationships over the long term. She has solid relationships with hundreds of tenants, property owners and buyers.

Evidence of Diane’s success can be seen throughout the Dallas Design District and Bishop Arts District.

Since the start of DW & Co., Diane has handled large redevelopment projects such as 1201 Oak Lawn Ave. She painstakingly chose tenants such as El Bolero Cocina Mexicana, The Tile Shop, Bungalow 5 and GR Home Furnishings to make this location stand out. She is also responsible for new tenants in the District, such as Kitchen Dog Theater at 4774 Algiers St., ROKA Sports at 1405 Turtle Creek Blvd., Buda Juice at 1403 Dragon St., Haas Motorcycle Gallery at 1500 Dragon (Suite B1), Big Ass Fans on Oak Lawn and Taboo Lounge at 1418 Riverfront Blvd. Diane has helped relocate businesses in the area such as Cantera Doors at 1343 Motor Circle, A-1 Locksmith at 1622 Market Center Blvd., Ellouise Abbott at 1025 N. Stemmons Fwy. in the Dallas Design Center and White Glove Storage & Delivery on Wycliff Avenue.

Also, in the Design District, she brought Allan Knight & Associates to the International Design Center at 150 Turtle Creek Blvd. as part of a redevelopment project with 154,000 square feet of leasable space.

In Bishop Arts, Diane worked diligently to get the right mix of retail shops and local restaurants in place, including Hattie’s, Vera Cruz, Espinoza, Chan Thai and Zen Sushi. She also was responsible for bringing in retail tenants, such as Epiphany, Epiphany for Him, Dirt, Indigo 1745, Artisan Collective, Ginger Fox Gallery, Pebble & Pine, The Book Doctor, Shambhalah Soaps, Fetish and Zola’s Vintage Clothing.

Today, Diane’s focus remains in the Dallas Design District, a special purpose district under the PD 621. She continues to work with property owners on redevelopment projects which will revitalize this area to help keep pace with the changing needs of this unique District.

During DW&Co.’s five years of business she has assisted clients in the purchase, sell or lease of almost 1,500,000 square feet of Design District real estate, resulting in nearly 75 million dollars in transactions.

DW&Co. looks forward to continued success representing her clients in the Dallas Design District.

Testimonials

  1. We had worked with Diane Williams in the past when we needed to find office space to lease. We enjoyed working with her so much that when it later came time to purchase a building to house our complete operations, she was our obvious choice for a real estate broker. Diane did a great job working for us in a very tight real estate market. She pounded the pavement to find just the right location for us - no small feat in such a market. She is very organized and always presented candidate buildings and related information in a very helpful and effective manner. Once we found the building we decided to pursue, she helped guide us through the entire process of negotiating and post-sales contract phases of the deal. Diane was extremely helpful and communicative throughout the process. I would recommend Diane to anyone looking to buy or lease a space.

  2. When we outgrew our space in the design district we intially started looking around on our own. But we quickly realized our time and talents were better invested in our business and connected with Diane. She made the process of locating and leasing our new office completely painless. As we grow over the years to come we hope to work with her again.

  3. No matter the advancement in technology, in my opinion, there are some things that should never diminish in business dealings. The old-fashioned business philosophy that places value on things like "your word is your bond", "a handshake still means something", "honesty is the best policy", and "nothing is worth a compromise of one's integrity" is what will set a broker apart from all others. I am grateful I found that in Diane Williams & Co. Whether you are in the market to lease or purchase, aligning with this group will be the best favor you ever did for yourself - you'll ensure that you are treated as a person/company with unique requirements and not just another deal. We just completed our third transaction, and we will never look elsewhere should another need arise.

  4. I recently toured a few of your Design District suites with you with one of my clients. We were all impressed with the way you represented your properties and wanted to let you know that it has made a lasting impression with all of us. I have been in the commercial real estate business for 27 years; frankly I have never met someone that made me or one of my client’s feel so comfortable on a first meeting. Whatever charm or charisma you exude to brokers and clients is something I wish could be taught or bought; I would be the first in line to get it.

  5. As a passive real estate developer, it has been my good fortune to work with DW & Co. They have been a buyer’s representative for me on real estate transactions. They are a relationship builder that is diligent, detailed, creative and works extremely hard to make sure we are doing things the right way the first time. As an experienced real estate broker, they have proposed several alternative ideas that have helped me make better informed decisions in these transactions. In addition, their honesty and integrity will keep me coming back as a valued customer and friend.

  6. I give DW & Co. very high marks as a realtor. They represented me in finding a new tenant for a building we had been trying to lease for over two years. They did a great job with the demanding national tenant. Their experience and very courteous attitude are valuable and effective.

  7. I have been most pleased with DW & Co’s work on my behalf and not disappointed during our first interaction when they were representing the seller. They are tough but fair. Above all else they are ethical, which is why they now represent my company. I highly recommend them.
